I think it is great name and I can tell him I named him after a GREAT AMERICAN PRESIDENT.
I am thinking about naming my 1st child Hussein, or at least his middle name, so what do you think?
i think everyone should!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I guess it's a better name than Mortimer.
Reply:I think you're being silly.
Reply:if you hope that a guy with the middle name Hussein will be elected president...think again
Reply:John 3:16 King James Version
Reply:after who?
Reply:that's what you can tell your son when they beat the crap out of him at school every day.
Reply:/sarcasm
Oh, well, since America is no longer white nation nor a nation of Christians, why not? You'd be giving your child a diverse name, which is very good in today's non-white, non-Christian society. You better not give him a normal name, otherwise you'd be racist and anti-Islamic.
/end sarcasm
Emmy, you coward. If you're going to write to me, don't block your e-mail address, thereby preventing me from responding to you in private. Anyhow, that comment of yours is written by something so confused, it doesn't know whether to scratch its watch or wind its ***. Dullard, do yourself and everyone else a favor: disconnect your computer from the Internet.
Reply:go right ahead
Reply:You will doom him to being ridiculed all of his life and he will have a hard time with anger and shame. Hussein might be a fine name, but it would be a terrible mistake to saddle your child with a name that is all about you and making a statement and not about the life of the child.
Reply:I think your insane. The problems this child well face while attending school could destroy his social life. When people see or here the name Hussein, the first person I think of is Saddam.
Reply:hahahahaha.
I don't know if this is a joke or not...
If it isn't, I'm sure you want whats best for your child. People aren't suppose to be judgemental about a stupid name but people nowadays associate Hussein with Saddam Hussein. Naming your child this could lead to ridicule later in his life.
Reply:NO NO NO NO NO
there was a kid at my school with that name
and everyone started calling him possum
and he was so embaressed he changed schools
Reply:Uh... sure. I also think a great middle name would be Adolph.
Reply:Don't know if your comment/question was sincere or not, but to do the world.....
BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA will be the President of the USA come January 20, 2009.
Reply:Why do such a horrible thing to a young child? Any Arab name is off limits these days. As far as the great American president is concerned....forget it. Even if Obama gets the nomination he will not win because most of the national voters do not care for him. He is too young and too inexperienced.
Reply:People with your mentality should not allow their genes to be spread on the face of the earth
Reply:And he can be named after a once American alli that decided not to turn his countries currency into USD and so he was called a terrorist and was killed. I shouls go ahead and name my children Katrina, Binladen, Chavez and Billary, right?
Reply:If B.O. is sworn in with his hand on the silly koran, then that name could protect your child when she grows up.
The Democrats ts are not about to forestall the advance of muslim fascism. The two groups appear to have too much in common. Expect both to advance their agendas.
Reply:well its a bit early, we can't be sure obama will win
and in any case, people will always associate the name more with saddam than barack. so he might have a hard time cuz of that.
not to trash your culture or anything, its a fine name by itself but you have to think about the implications.
for example...my grandfather's middle name was Adolf (he was Jewish, too...) and he used to be beat up in school cuz of it until he started telling people it was Andrew. so think about what is really best for your kid.
name him barack if you want tho...
Reply:That's nice. Why not just call him Sadam Hussein or Osama Bin Ladin? How about Adolph? Yeah...call your baby little Adolph Hussein...
Reply:...why not "Adolf" Hussein ....
Reply:I'll name mine Malik Obama Hussein...hell I might change my name to Barrakisha badmamajamma Hussein...but for real it is a beautiful name makes me proud to be American shows that we are truly great and diverse
Reply:Name him what you like but i dont expect it will be received to well. So watch out cause in the future im sure so moron will be offended by your childs name. By the way im not.
Why not call it Hussein Lucifer Adolf Mao ......
Reply:keep dreaming! lol
Reply:Thomas: Feeling a little insecure today?
So sad to crush your little ethnocentric dreams...

Anyway, it's true that unless Barack decides to go the Wilson route and use Hussein as his first name, the name "Hussein" will still be associated with Saddam-- much like "Adolf" is no longer a very popular name.
Reply:Thats awesome! Lets end the stigma to that name once and for all!, Ill do the same with my first born :)
Reply:I think it is a great name, but i don't think it's an aMerican president's name, but i love it because it was the last name of the great iraqi dictator.
Reply:go with it for middle, and go for Saddam (or howev its spelt) for 1st
epic.
