How do you like the name "Ian"? We're naming our son and are considering this one.?

Ian is a variation of John (who would've thunk). John means "God has been gracious" which during labor and delivery may prove to be helpful if you do decide to go with this name. I think it's cute for a little boy and will become more sophisticated as he gets older. I say go for it.

I absolutely love it. There's a guy on my fav soap named that who's both strong, gentle %26amp; intelligent.





I also have a good friend named Ian that immigrated here from Ireland. He's good looking, has strength of character, hard worker, cares about others, intelligent. So I love the name.





But Zachary is a cool name too. It means the Lord hath remembered. It's my son's middle name. Ian Zachary doesn't that sound cool? lol!

Reply:I used to love the name...but there is a boy at my daycare and he is sooo bad that it made me not like the name as much anymore but that is my personally reason. If you like it go for it!!
