What was the name of the name of the scientist who experimented with behavior?

I think his or her last name had 8 letters.Like this:_ _ _ _ _e_r. No spaces(i put those to seperate the underscores)and the 'e' and the 'r' belong there.

What was the name of the name of the scientist who experimented with behavior?
Dude, she said it ends in "er".

The only two I can think of are

B.F. Skinner and

Steven Pinker... but I think he was language...

Or was it e, [another letter], and r?

---She's SURE about the letters "e" and "r". Read it. Pavlov doesn't have an "e" or and "r" ANYWHERE in it.

---Thank you, Jen. I see that you use your eyes. And your brain. I studied behaviorism when I did my psychology unit studying psycholinguistics, and I've never heard of any other name that fits those blanks. And from a linguistic point of view, I can only think of a few letters that go between an e and r at the end of a unit... "-ehr" in a German/Swiss name, "-eer", "-eir", "-err", and "-eur". And still I come up dry.
Reply:as mentioned, Pavlov and Skinner are two of the most famous behaviourists, and also early researchers of it. Others well known ones are Hull, Watson, Tolman and Thorndike. I would say its most likely to be Skinner, he's probably most heard of. Thorndike, Pavlov and Watson kinda started the whole behaviourism thing off.
Reply:Pavlov? Pavlov's dogs were conditioned to salivate at the ringing of a bell.

Dudette: She said "I THINK," which implies she may not even be sure of THAT. If she were certain, she would have said, "His or her last name has..." or at the very least know "his or her" flippin' gender.
