My friend is having a baby boy and naming him Jesus Adams. What do you think of this name?

I truly think it is blasphemy. Jesus is supposed to be the name with all power, and this little kid is not the son of God.

My friend is having a baby boy and naming him Jesus Adams. What do you think of this name?
Another virgin birth, right? Yeah. Sure.
Reply:I dont think its a good idea to name the baby Jesus. Jesus is an original person who should NOT be duplicated. Only Him should be worthy of the praise and not its duplicate. Since i downing this idea...here are some suggestions: (I see your into the holy names):

Jonah Adams

Nathan Adams (1 Chronicles 14:4)

Ephraim Adams (2 Kings 6:5)

Matthew Adams

Aaron Adams (Leviticus 13:1)
Reply:theres nuthin rong with it
Reply:I THINK IT'S BEEN USED BEFORE!
Reply:I never heard anyone named it but i personally would not due it it is to much to live up to for the name....
Reply:I like it. Does you friend have any more kids? Moses Adams, Satan Adams, Eve Adams........
Reply:I kno it's a pretty popular latino name pronounced "he-sus". I don't care for it much tho.
Reply:I think it's stupid.
Reply:i don't like it.
Reply:well not offence but it sounds like you are combinding two relgions like becasue catholic=jesus and jewish=adam.

but if the family is a mix. then i think that it would make a lot more sence.
Reply:What's her name Mary Eve, ?
Reply:In the Hispanic world, this is not unusual. I personally would name my child something else because I believe that Jesus' name is a name above all names. It's the highest name in the universe. It doesn't belong to a man.

TX Mom
Reply:Cool name..so unusual ;)
Reply:How is she pronouncing it? Hay-Soos or Geez-us? Idk, I think that's a little weird.
Reply:They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. But in this case I believe that with the name Jesus the child will have a lot to live up to, not forgetting the many teases he will have throughout his life which may make him a hard man.

Try and advise your friend that as noble as the name may be choosing something more appropriate would serve the interest of the child much better.

Good Luck

P.S I hope the next is not a girl and have her named Mary!!
Reply:oh dear!
Reply:I think he will be teased a lot.
Reply:If is is pronounced the Spanish way with a second syllable pronounciation as "Hay ZEUS" , but otherwise no.
Reply:OMG YOU CAN NAME A KID JESUS !?!?!?!? THATS SO COOL! WHEN HE GOES TO SCHOOL PEOPLE ARE GONNA MAKE FUN OF HIM UNLESS HE'S REALLLY GOOD LOOKING, BUT THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH NAMING A KID JESUS UNLESS THE BIBLE SAYS ITS BAD!! AND I DONT THINK IT DOES!

WELL GOOD LUCK JESUS! (UM THE BABY) LOL
Reply:dont seem to fit together well, and jesus well I dont know
Reply:Jesus is a common hispanic name and it's really your friend's choice, not yours. If she's hispanic and her husband is not, maybe she is choosing to show her culture in her child's first name.

It could be worse, anyhow. There's a child in my daughter's class named Abcde. And once, when my husband was working in a hospital, a child was brought in who was named Diablo (means devil in Spanish).
Reply:She needs to think again. Calling him that will make life extremely difficult for the child as he grows up. People need to take more care in naming children!
Reply:I don't like it, why would they pick a Spanish or Mexican first name and an american middle name. That is kind of ODD...
Reply:Actually I prefer Adam Jesus.

Adam, after all came before Jesus, It just sounded nicer to me. (Also, I don't like the S after Adam. )
Reply:It sounds pretty nice. But I personally wouldn't name my child that.
Reply:I like Adam Jesus. Adam Jesus is a beautiful name.
Reply:dont do that to the baby......he going to have a screwed up life; what did the baby ever do to her?!

.....poor baby; c'mon now ppl please dont get crazy with the names!!!
Reply:Sounds great!
Reply:Isn't it Spanish supposed to sound like Jasoo?
