Trying to decide on a girls name. What name do you like better and why?
I like Jenna. Christina is also cute. Have you considered spelling it "Kristina?" Just another option...
Reply:Lindsay is nice. It is different yet traditional. Malinda is a variation of Melinda so everyone would be mis spelling it all along the life thinking it should be Melinda without the A. Christina is nice if you are Mediterranean or Hispanic heritage otherwise I prefer Christine. Jenna is not really a traditional name but a cutesy variation of Jennifer so I vote no on that. Congratulations
Reply:I like Jenna- I always thought it was a cute alternative to Jennifer. That's cool that you're considering all these names, though- I like the retro 80's vibe in all of them. I grew up in the 80's and had lots of friends named Lindsay, Christina, and Jenna (no Melinda friends, though- that must be a bit more old-fashioned.)
Reply:I like Malinda its a name you dont hear of too much. Sorry, I hate George Bush so I would not be able to tolerate the name of his daughter - Jenna. Lindsay is ok, but tho whole Lindsay Lohan thing would drive me nuts. Christina is ok - used a lot in the 80s but not that trendy now.

i dont know any malindas and that name is ok, i just cant see a baby being called malinda.

Reply:I like Melinda and Jenna, but i have friends with those names. be careful if you decide n Jenna. it's very common. when I graduated high school in 2001there were 5 Jenna's in my class. Malinda is also common. I know two of them.

Lindsay - I really like it. I sounds nice when you say it.





Christina - not too keen. It sounds all girly and crystalish!





Jenna - Not too keen either. I know a girl I don't like called Jenna!!
Reply:I see Jenna; I think Jameson. Which isn't necessarily a "bad" thing, and it is generational... Plus I really do like that name.





I like Malinda... it's a little more unusual.
