When naming a company, what is the difference between LTD, CO, or INC, at the end of the name?

I am filling out the legal documents for an incorporation. It asks for LTD, Co. or INC to be at the end of the name. Is there a difference between these titles or are they the same?

LTD = Limited = owned by many people by limitations of % share holdings (no control) but ask some outsider to do the jobs for them

CO = Company = owned by several people and they gain full control upon it 100%

INC = Incorporation = some just give the money only and no control, the rest gives the money, works on it and gain full control upon it. Usually % of "the rest" is above 51%
