No. I'm sure Michael Jackson isn't the only one out there with that name, as well as Madonna, Paul McCartney, Will Smith, and even Obi Wan Kenobi. No joke on that last one. I was listening to a radio show where they paid people $1,000 to legally change their name to Star Wars characters before the last movie came out. Someone legally became Obi Wan Kenobi. But no, your wife won't get in trouble. You son just won't be able to use his name as a domain down the road. Cheers :)

Emerald = middle name of your son (I'd think)

All name-genders change with the times. I know plenty men named Emerald - first names @ that! (the "d" is silent)
