my mom recently passed away and i inherited some land from her. the land is in california and i live in nevada. im looking to sell it cause i could use some extra cash. but first i need to put it in my name. her attorny who did her trust said it would cost $2000 to do this and i would have to wait 6 months from her death to do it. is there a cheaper way that i could do it myself? what forms would i need? and is it true that i have to wait 6 months from her death? i dont know if i trust him he seems shady and i heard he works with a guy that owns a lot of land where mine is.
How do i change the name my name onto the deed for land i inherited?
Contact a local title company in where the property is located they will tell you the truth. They have nothing to gain.
You can search for one here

Reply:Just refinanace the property, if you need any cash pull it out and the rest can be done at the title company. Make sure you state that as goal to your loan officer. For more info Conact me at Joshua_Eboh@yahoo.com
