Can I get ideas on naming a baby after my Grandpa Leon without using a name that begins with the an letter "L"?

Noel? Leon spelled backwards.

Can I get ideas on naming a baby after my Grandpa Leon without using a name that begins with the an letter "L"?
I have two ideas:

1. You could name him Ian. Ian is really cute and sounds like Leon. You could even spell it Eon if you want to make the connection more obvious.

2. You could name him Ellion or Elleon. This is like a twist on Elliot but sounds really cute.

Hope I helped...good luck! :]
Reply:Leon means lion, so this think shows you all the name (except the first few) that means lion. Could that work

Reply:Try using a name that contains those letters, such as:

Noel

Or something that sounds relatively like it:

Noah

Nolan

Good luck!
Reply:Noel (pronounced nole) NOT (pronounced no-elle) like the girl name....It's Leon spelled backward....
Reply:Elion

Reply:Noel? Or you could use your grandfathers middle name.
Reply:Whats his middle name? Or for a girl Noel is pretty.
Reply:Noel

Noelle

Olen

Eleonne
